POA (Power of Attorney)
It is a legal document used to delegate administrative powers. It confers various powers - buying & selling property, accessing bank safe deposit boxes, contracting on behalf of the donor etc. It is only effective after registering at High Court. POA is valid until revoked or death or incapacity. For HDB POA, it is only valid for a maximum of 6 years.
